Born and raised in Medford, Josh has always been passionate about serving and strengthening his community. He attended Rogue Community College, where he studied to become an EMT, an experience that deepened his commitment to helping others and making a positive impact.
For more than a decade, Josh worked at Oregon Vortex, connecting with people from all walks of life while developing strong leadership, communication and mentoring skills. His ability to build meaningful relationships and create welcoming experiences has shaped his people-first approach to mentorship.
Now serving as a Professional Mentor with Friends of the Children, Josh is hoping to encourage honesty, kindness, perseverance and grit in the lives of young people. He believes every child deserves support, encouragement and someone who believes in their potential. Josh is also excited to help the youth he works with develop positive relationships within the community.
