Staff: Bilson Florvilus

Bilson joined Friends of the Children in March 2025. Bilson has nine years' experience working with youth including running his own kids club in Haiti for seven years and working as a bus route paraprofessional for the Klamath Falls City Schools after moving to the US in July 2023. Bilson especially loves to help youth find ways to work with their hands and connect to their passions. Bilson believes in the power of mentorship and that every child has the potential to thrive when given the right guidance, support, and opportunities. He is so excited to be part of an organization that focuses on long-term mentorship and breaking the cycle of poverty for children in need. When not at work, Bilson enjoy spending time with his family and helping people in his community.
