Staff: Bridget Vargas

Bridget joined Friends of the Children – Klamath Basin in January 2025 to provide additional support to the 2Gen component of the program. In her role Bridget engages with caregivers in order to provide guidance and support, helping them navigate available resources. Bridget holds an Associates of Science from Klamath Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from Oregon Institute of Technology. Before joining Friends of the Children Bridget worked at a shelter for homeless teens, as a Direct Support Professional, a Mental Health Mentor in a transitional living facility and as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a memory care facility. In her free time Bridget enjoys hiking, playing tennis, learning about history, and spending time with her dog, Rigby.
