Corey Stamper

Professional Mentor

Corey Stamper was born and raised in Southern California and attended boarding school in rural Utah before making his way to Klamath Falls in 2007. He has been working with children in one form or another ever since, including as an aide in several preschools, as a counselor in the Ross Ragland Theater's summer youth camps, and as a teen mentor for the Citizens for Safe Schools "Kids in the Middle" program. Corey was drawn to Friends of the Children's model of long-term commitment to each child and was excited to join its administrative team in 2022 as Operations Coordinator. In February 2023 he became a Friend to Chiloquin youth and looks forward to helping them find and pursue their individual passions.
