Dan Brinton

Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dan later made his home in Phoenix, Arizona, where he met his wife, Kim and together they raised their two sons. Dan moved to Oregon and worked in McMinnville for 15 years before retiring from his first career in the restaurant industry. Dan and Kim then spent time living and working in Dubai, where Kim led special education programs and Dan taught English to business professionals.
They came to Klamath Falls in 2021 so Kim could accept a position in the Klamath Falls City School District. It was at this time that Dan found his passion and second career as an advocate and mentor. He worked as a paraprofessional in the GOALS classroom and coached football and basketball at Mazama High School for almost five years before joining Friends of the Children. "I am so excited to be a part of this organization, I hope my life experience will help the kiddos in this program."
